The eighth era

All records corrupted. System error.

07 Era VII
2120 – 2185

Post-Atomic era

What the corporations left behind, and who kept living in it. The seams are spent, the branding survives, and salvage is the only honest trade.

Museum HQ
06 Era VI
2050 – 2120

Atomic era

Chrome optimism with a reactor humming underneath. The Museum is founded here by MARK-IV, and this is the century you are dispatched from.

05 Era V
1985 – 2050

Synthetic era

Memory becomes a product. Culture is packaged, licensed and sold back to the people it was taken from, and the first synthetic Flux hits the market.

Synthetic era
Analog era
04 Era IV
1900 – 1985

Analog era

Switchboards, wire recordings and paperwork thick enough to hide a war. Everything is on file somewhere, which is exactly why the Museum starts here.

03 Era III
1500 – 1900

Industrial era

Smoke, steel and scale. Extraction becomes an industry, the eight learn to move product across borders faster than any government can count it.

Industrial era
Gothic era
02 Era II
500 – 1500 CE

Gothic era

Faith, plague and ledgers. The corporations learn that a monopoly can be written down and enforced, and the first Flux hoards are locked behind stone.

01 Era I
2000 BCE – 500 CE

Mythic era

Flux Energy is worshipped, not mined. Temples are built over the seams, gods are credited with what the energy does, and the first corporate charters arrive dressed as gifts.
